The autumn-winter 2025-2026 women's fashion week begins this Monday, 3 March, with nine intense days of fashion shows and presentations. On display will be the collections of many new artistic directors at the head of several iconic houses.
The new edition of Paris Fashion Week begins on Monday, 3 March, when, for nine days, 108 registered houses will offer fashion shows (71) and presentations (37). The event will end on 11 March.
The 2025 edition is particularly eagerly awaited due to the arrival of new artistic directors at the head of several emblematic fashion houses. The ball of fashion shows opened today and will close on 11 March. Belgian designer Julian Klausner will present his first women's collection at Dries van Noten. Indeed, since the departure of the eponymous designer last June, the Belgian fashion house, which is part of the portfolio of the Spanish group Puig, announced in December the appointment of Klausner, who is now in charge of the creation of the men's and women's collections. The 33-year-old Belgian, who already had extensive experience at Margiela, had been Dries Van Noten's right-hand man since 2018.

The house of Givenchy will also mark a turning point with the arrival of its new artistic director Sarah Burton. After brilliantly taking over the helm of the house of Alexander McQueen for more than a decade following the designer's sudden death, LVMH spotted the designer and bet on her in September 2024 for her incredible talent, her knowledge of craftsmanship and materials, and her ability to draw on the history of Givenchy to revisit its heritage.
Still in the LVMH galaxy - whose fashion and leather goods division saw a slight decline of 1% in the last quarter of 2024 - rumors are circulating about a change of artistic direction at Dior, with Jonathan Anderson (currently at Loewe) tipped to succeed Maria Grazia Chiuri. However, the fashion house recorded the highest MIV (Media Impact Value) during the last Women's Fashion Week last October (spring-summer 2025) with 58.7 million dollars.
There is also a new face at Tom Ford (part of the Zegna group) with the arrival of Haider Ackermann, also artistic director at Berluti. He succeeded Peter Hawkings, who in turn had taken the place of the eponymous founder before finally leaving the company less than a year after taking the reins. Ackermann's mission is to modernize Tom Ford's identity to continue its turnover growth, which amounted to 314 million euros in 2024, up 33.5% compared to the previous year.
Among the highlights of this Paris Fashion Week is once again the Coperni show, which surpasses itself in originality every year. This season, the artistic direction has imagined a show inspired by a video game tournament (a LAN party) at the Adidas Arena, once again pushing the limits of creativity. The Parisian label of the duo Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer, launched in 2013, has confirmed its status as one of the most profitable of the ‘buzz’ phenomena. In 2022, we remember Bella Hadid's dress made of sprayed fabric, which made a lasting impression, and then a season later, the robot dogs that walked alongside the models.
New names are also making their debut on the fashion show calendar, including Alaïa, Burc Akyol, Christopher Esber, and the Chinese fashion house Icicle, an eco-responsible and minimalist fashion pioneer.
