Associazione Calcio Milan, better known as AC Milan, has announced a new partnership with the Off-White brand, created by Virgil Abloh, the American designer who died last year at the age of just 41.

The partnership will be made official on 5 October 2022, during the Champions League match between Chelsea and AC Milan (AC Milan)

A visionary, innovator, gifted in multiple disciplines, Virgil Abloh founded Off-White in 2013 in Milan, with the aim of offering luxury fashion collections inspired by counterculture and streetwear, drawing on the graphic imagination of the 1990s.

The holding company New Guards Group, managed by three Italian investors, had supported the brand from the start. New Guards, bought by Farfetch for 600 million euros in 2019, has since been acquired by the LVMH group.

In the new partnership between the brand and the club, Off-White will provide off-field uniforms for AC Milan's men's and women's teams. But the collaboration will not be limited to that.

The partnership will support the ethical values that drive the sports company and the fashion brand, in a focus on young talent, as well as in the fight against inequality and discrimination. The collaboration will be made official on Wednesday 5 October, during the match between Chelsea and AC Milan in the Champions League.

Off-White has already collaborated with big names such as Jay Z, Drake and Beyoncé. The brand has around 60 shops worldwide and last year the directors said they were aiming for a turnover of one billion dollars within five or ten years.
