Iconic address in the heart of one of Europe's most prestigious alpine resorts, the five-star The Park Gstaad will welcome guests back for the 2026-2027 winter season, under a brand new name: The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel. Following the renovations, the property will boast 75 rooms and suites, including a collection of luxury penthouses, managed by Four Seasons and available for purchase.

“Gstaad has long been a favourite destination in Europe for luxury travellers, and we are excited to have the unique opportunity to enter this exclusive market with such an exceptional property,” says Bart Carnahan, president, global business development, portfolio management and residential, Four Seasons, in a press release.

The complete renovation, which preserves the historic Alpine environment with modern touches, will be overseen by Squircle Capital and French interior designer Joseph Dirant, also responsible for the interiors of the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club. Bars, restaurants, a spa and fitness center with luxurious treatment rooms, as well as indoor and outdoor pools, will be featured. Meeting and event spaces, a tennis court, ski and bike services and children's facilities will complete the service offering for guests who come to enjoy Gstaad's exceptional setting in winter and summer alike.

Swiss businesswoman Dona Bertarelli, philanthropist, co-chairwoman of the Bertarelli Foundation and renowned sailor, has owned the hotel since 2003. “We have found the ideal partners for a property that has been part of my personal journey in the region,” she said in a press release. “As Gstaad’s first luxury hotel, The Park Gstaad holds a special place in the region’s heritage, and I am excited to unveil its transformation into a Four Seasons experience, where its legacy meets modern elegance for residents and visitors to enjoy.”
