When nature is metamorphosed into Crypto art.

Refik Anadol’s artworks are unique in the current artistic landscape. His monumental digital sculptures are composed of an infinite succession of images, fed by billions of data, photos and videos collected on the net and brought to life by algorithms and artificial intelligence technology. A constant metamorphosis of the subjects occurs in the image. This was all it took for Italian jeweller Bulgari to commission a gigantic, immersive work called Serpenti Metamorphosis to celebrate its emblematic snake, king of moulting and metamorphosis, and made up of millions of photos of nature and snakes. The piece of art was on display in Piazza del Duomo in Milan until the end of October. It will now be visible in other cities around the world, before the multi-sensory and multi-dimensional oeuvre is auctioned off as a non-fungible token (NFT).
