The sculptural art of Iris van Herpen

Until April 28, 2024, the Musée des Arts décoratifs is hosting an exhibition dedicated to Iris van Herpen, a visionary designer at the crossroads of fashion, art and technology. This retrospective, entitled “Iris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses”, highlights the career of van Herpen, known for designs that redefine haute couture through the use of new technologies and artisanal craftsmanship. The exhibition features over one hundred pieces, from van Herpen’s earliest 3D creations to his latest collections, in dialogue with contemporary art and design pieces. The immersive exhibition explores the link between body, garment and environment, offering a sensory and sculptural experience of fashion.
