African fashions in London

A landmark exhibition celebrating the creativity and continuously growing global impact of contemporary African fashions will be presented at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London from the 2^nd of July until April 2023. With over 250 objects on show, it will be England’s most extensive exhibition of African fashions to date, celebrating the vitality and innovation of the continent, driven by a vibrant and dynamic scene. A great number of the garments on display are from the personal archives of a selection of iconic mid-twentieth century African designers.
