Rolls Royce has reached new heights in its sales figures: the prestigious British automaker recently unveiled its sales results for 2023, a particularly fruitful year as the manufacturer delivered 6'032 vehicles. Rolls Royce has set a historic record in its 119-year history, surpassing the previous year's total by 11 cars.

While this margin may seem small, it represents a remarkable progression for Rolls Royce, which has crossed the 6'000-vehicle mark since 2022. The best-selling models continue to be the Ghost and the Cullinan, with prices starting at around 300'000 euros. The success of the brand lies in exclusivity and customization. Rolls Royce enthusiasts adore highly personalized cars, achieved through specialized workshops capable of customizing every part of the vehicle, turning each car into a unique collector's piece.

The current success of the brand can also be attributed to its significant commitment to developing more eco-friendly engines. The recent launch of the Spectre coupe, Rolls Royce's first fully electric model, has been particularly well-received in the market. "It is encouraging to see the tremendous interest and demand for Spectre, which supports the decision to adopt a bold, fully electric strategy for the development and production of future models," commented the new CEO, Chris Brownridge, while also emphasizing "strong sales in all regions."

The most dynamic markets have been North America and China, where Rolls Royce has found its place thanks to a growing number of brand enthusiasts and its identity. China is now the second-largest market in the world for the British firm, and sales could surpass those in the United States by the end of the current year. The company plans a complete transition to electric vehicles by 2030. As part of this strategy, the company intends to strengthen its team in Goodwood by hiring 180 new employees, bringing the total number of employees to 2'500.

The year 2023 marks a turning point for Rolls Royce with the introduction of the Spectre and the discontinuation of two historic models, Wraith and Dawn, during the first half, signaling a bold move towards the future for the British manufacturer.
