Creating virtual wallets to store your NFTs is the latest trend in luxury. After the Italian house Fendi, it's the turn of Swiss watchmaker Hublot to create a collection in partnership with Ledger

For its collaboration with Ledger, Hublot has developed a limited-edition Big Bang Unico of 50 pieces (Hublot)

After the surprising collaboration between the international platform for digital assets and Web 3.0 Ledger (more than 15% of the world's crypto assets are secured with Ledger digital wallets) and the Italian luxury house Fendi, merging crypto and high-end fashion, it is now the turn of the Swiss luxury watch brand Hublot to initiate such a partnership. While Fendi had presented two accessories for its Fall/Winter 2022 men's collection, including a Ledger Nano X wallet in the image of the iconic Baguette bag, Hublot has developed a limited-edition Big Bang Unico of 50 pieces. The Big Bang Unico Ledger is equipped with a 42 mm black ceramic and an internal skeletonised automatic chronograph movement. It is accompanied by the Ledger & Hublot Nano X, a limited-edition crypto wallet that will only be available with the watch.

While the accessories developed by Fendi may have been criticised for their potential exposure to the risk of theft, they demonstrate real growth potential in the world of crypto-currency and metaverse related accessories. With the first historic NFT auction of a luxury watch initiated by legendary watch industry expert Jean-Claude Biver in March 2021, the Hublot brand is also showing its willingness to further embrace the fusion of high-end crypto and advanced mechanical watchmaking.
