The luxury group LVMH has just announced the appointment of Frédéric Arnault, one of Bernard Arnault's five children, as CEO of the Loro Piana brand, specialising in cashmere, vicuña and extrafine wool. The appointment will be effective from 10 June 2025.

Frédéric Arnault will succeed Damien Bertrand, who has in turn been appointed Deputy CEO of Louis Vuitton.

Under Bertrand's leadership, Loro Piana had grown and undergone several innovations, thanks to the introduction of new materials, a particular focus on leather goods and the modernisation of the label's image.

The strategic strengthening of the management of the LVMH houses then continues with the appointment of Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, currently CEO of Fendi, as head of Christian Dior Couture from 15 April. He will work alongside CEO Delphine Arnault.

These promotions are intended to encourage internal mobility, promote talent and boost LVMH's dynamism in the luxury markets, injecting new ideas and visions to consolidate the identity of the brands concerned.

Frédéric Arnault will start to join Loro Piana from the end of March. Until now he has been in charge of LVMH Watches, whose prestigious portfolio includes brands such as Hublot, Tag Heuer and Zenith. Prior to that, he had already infused his management talents at TAG Heuer, where he successively held the positions of Director of Connected Technologies, Director of Strategy and Digital, and then CEO from 2018 to 2020.

Damien Bertrand will become a full member of the luxury group's executive committee from January next year and will work alongside the Italian Pietro Beccari, current CEO of Vuitton.

CEO Bernard Arnault commented on these changes by emphasising the ‘vision, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit’ of the chosen profiles, and their key role in the group's future growth, in a highly fluctuating and increasingly competitive international context.

With his appointment as head of Loro Piana, Frédéric Arnault will take the reins of an expanding label and pursue a twofold objective: to accelerate growth and maintain the brand's timeless identity and its expertise of excellence. Loro Piana was acquired by LVMH in 2013. The current president is Antoine Arnault, the eldest son of Bernard Arnault.
