By the end of 2025, a first 207-metre yacht will be delivered by the Fincantieri shipbuilding group. As a sign that the maritime adventure will not be an isolated initiative, Four Seasons has already ordered two more ships from the Italian shipbuilder.

The first yacht launched by Four Seasons will have 95 customised rooms and suites (Four Seasons)

Four Seasons will work in partnership with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, a Maltese company specialising in luxury shipping. The order placed with Fincantieri is worth around 1.2 billion euros.

The first yacht to be built will be the result of excellent know-how and will offer double the surface area of the models offered by the competition. In all, the Canadian group founded by Isadore Sharp plans to build 95 rooms and suites, all of them customised. Wellness areas and a pool deck will also be available to guests.

The new Four Seasons Yachts brand aims to deliver "bespoke craftsmanship, dedication to excellence and an unparalleled stay-at-sea experience." These ambitious promises have been formulated to satisfy the most demanding guests. The most expensive suite, called the Funnel Suite, offers 820 square metres of space, a private pool and spa.

For the construction of the ship, Four Seasons has called on the expertise of London-based Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, which will design the common areas, and Tillberg Design of Sweden to design the suites.

Since last year, the main shareholder of Four Seasons is Bill Gates: his stake in the hotel chain amounts to 71.25% of the shares, after the Saudi prince Al Walid, cousin of Ben Salman, sold his.

Four Seasons' entry into the world of luxury ships was celebrated at the end of September at the Monaco Yacht Show 2022.
