With 87 days left until the opening of the Paris Olympic Games, Swiss watchmaker Omega, the event's official timekeeper, unveiled its exclusive multi-floor house in the heart of the capital on Tuesday.

More than just a place to welcome visitors, Omega will be looking back over its 92-year history as a timekeeper (Omega).

From Sunday, July 28th to Saturday, August 10th, the third OMEGA House will open its doors at the Hôtel Poulpry in Paris, Maison des Polytechniciens, a few steps from the Musée d'Orsay. After a previous edition in London in 2012 and Rio in 2016, this "exclusive" venue will be an opportunity for the Bienne-based watchmaker not only to welcome members, guests, VIPs, and athletes to the heart of the capital but also to look back on its 92-year history as Official Timekeeper. A number of comfortable areas will be set aside for relaxation, and sport will be broadcast on large screens. By night, the Omega House will take on a whole new look, hosting a series of VIP events and themed parties in the presence of famous friends of the brand.

Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA, says, "We love sharing the Olympic Games with our friends from around the world. It's such a magical experience, and OMEGA House gives us the opportunity to celebrate that time together. I can't wait to open the doors and create some extraordinary Paris memories."

The OMEGA House will "embrace the energy and enthusiasm of the Olympic Games," the full program of which will be unveiled throughout the event. An original way for the watchmaker to celebrate its 31st year as Official Timekeeper of the Games, with the first edition dating back to the Los Angeles Games in 1932. At that time, Omega was the only Swiss watchmaker to present its 30 split-second chronographs. Since then, sports timekeeping has undergone many changes, and the Swiss watchmaker travels with a team of professional timekeepers and 450 tons of equipment.
